The ancient history and the ancient Belief of the Sree Thirupalkadal Temple.

 The ancient history of their temple is still unknown. If it so we have some informations transferred by the precious generation.  As per it during the Theertha yuga at the time of the war between the Lord Sree Rama and Ravana. The Sage Agasthya gave 'Virinjasthra' to the Lord for the assassination of Ravana, or divine Arrow, and the Sage came back to “Dwaraka”.  From there the sage along with his disciples “Ay vers” arrived at this divine hamlet of Keezhperoor.  The nature of this place attracted him so much. Some super nature power of this place inspired him to conduct meditation under a divine tree ‘Elanji’ .  During the course of meditation the full figure of the Supreme Lord Sree Mahavishnu was manifestedin his mind.  The inspired him to make a temple for the Lord.
